2) What this policy covers
This policy covers information handled through the UGC Brand Leads mobile app, our hosted website policy and support pages, customer support communications, and cloud-hosted app data used to provide app features, syncing, saved lists, or account-based access.
This policy does not replace the privacy policies of Apple, Google, Supabase, payment providers, or other third parties that may also process information under their own terms.
3) Information we collect or process
A) Account and login information
If you create an account or sign in, we may process information such as your email address, login identifiers, and account records needed to provide access to the app.
B) App content and creator workflow data
Depending on how you use UGC Brand Leads, we may process saved brands, leads, wishlists, lists, notes, follow-up reminders, creator workflow preferences, pitch template customisations, brand names, niche placeholders, hooks, outreach drafts, contract text, clauses, and creator CRM-style information you choose to store in the app.
C) Brand route and contact information
UGC Brand Leads may contain business contact routes and related brand opportunity data, including route types, business email addresses, public application routes, creator forms, campaign paths, contact-method labels, freshness dates, status labels, and related notes. We process this information to provide the app’s core directory and workflow features.
D) Support communications
If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message, including attachments or screenshots you choose to send.
E) Technical and diagnostic data
We may process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app, such as device type, app version, operating system, timestamps, IP-derived region or country, log records, and crash or error information.
F) Subscription and payment records
If you purchase a subscription or in-app purchase through Apple or Google, those platforms process the payment transaction. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive limited subscription or transaction status information needed to confirm access, handle support, and manage billing-related issues.
G) Device permissions
If the app requests device permissions, such as notifications or storage-related access, those permissions are used solely to enable app functionality and can be controlled through your device settings.
H) Information you should avoid uploading
Please do not upload unnecessary sensitive personal data into the app, such as health information, government identification numbers, payment card details, or confidential data unrelated to creator outreach and contract review.
4) How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain UGC Brand Leads and its core features, store and sync saved brands, lists, templates, notes, follow-ups, provide Brand Directory, Leads Vault, Pitch Templates, Contract Check and related app functionality, respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, maintain security, prevent misuse, improve performance, and comply with legal obligations.
UGC Brand Leads does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for users.
5) What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?
Where applicable under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases to process personal information:
- Performance of a contract: We process certain information when it is necessary to provide the services and features of UGC Brand Leads, including storing leads, managing creator workflows, syncing account data, and providing access to subscription features.
- Legitimate interests: We process information where it is reasonably necessary for our legitimate interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. This includes improving app performance, maintaining security, preventing misuse, and operating our services.

We may share or make information available in limited situations such as hosting and infrastructure providers including Supabase, email and support tools, analytics, diagnostics and security tools, app store and payment platforms such as Apple and Google, and where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, our business, or the public.
7) Storage, retention & security
A) Storage
UGC Brand Leads uses secure cloud-hosted infrastructure, including a Supabase-hosted SQL database and related services, to store or process certain app data needed to provide the app experience.
B) Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the app, maintain account access, respond to support, keep appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
C) Account and data deletion
If your version of the app includes account creation, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data through the app’s account settings or deletion controls where available, or by contacting support at support@theugcplaybook.com. Where applicable, users may also be able to initiate deletion from within the app itself. We may need to verify your identity before processing deletion requests.
D) Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information we handle, including access controls, authenticated infrastructure, and secure third-party hosting. However, no method of storage, transmission, or security is completely guaranteed, so we cannot promise absolute security.
E) International transfers
Depending on where you are located and where our service providers operate, information may be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law.
8) Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to request a copy of certain personal data we hold about you.
