2) What this policy covers

This policy covers information handled through the UGC Deal Tracker mobile app, support communications relating to the app, and these policy pages hosted on our website.

  • The UGC Deal Tracker mobile app on iOS and Android, including updates
  • Support communications for the app, such as email messages and attachments you send us
  • Privacy and legal pages hosted on The UGC Playbook website

It does not cover Apple, Google, or other third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies.

3) Information we collect or process

A) Information you enter into the app

The app helps you track creator deals. Depending on what you choose to enter, this may include brand names, campaign notes, deal stages, deliverables, due dates, completion notes, payment notes, and payment status.

Designed storage: for the core experience, this information is designed to be stored locally on your device rather than in an account-based system operated by us.

B) Support communications

If you contact support, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, including any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app where needed.

C) Diagnostics and crash information

Mobile operating systems, app stores, and device settings may generate technical diagnostics or crash information to help identify bugs and improve stability. Depending on your settings, this may include device type, operating system version, timestamps, and technical error details.

D) App Store or Google Play information

Apple and Google may collect information when you download, update, or access the app through their platforms. We do not control that collection and it is governed by their own privacy policies.

E) Website page data

If you visit our website pages, our hosting and provider systems may process basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and related security or performance data.

F) Information you should avoid entering

Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into the app, such as health data, government ID numbers, bank card details, or anything unrelated to deal-tracking notes.

4) How we use information

We use information only as needed to provide the app’s functionality, respond to support requests, maintain and improve the app, and protect the app and users from misuse, fraud, or security issues where necessary.

  • Performance of a contract: providing the app and support services
  • Legitimate interests: maintaining security, reliability, and product improvement
  • Consent: where required, such as certain diagnostics sharing controlled by device settings
  • Legal obligation: where we must comply with applicable law

5) Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers who help us run support, email, website infrastructure, or security processes, and where required by law or necessary to protect users, the public, or our services.

Because UGC Deal Tracker is designed for local on-device storage in normal use, your deal entries are not shared with us as part of the standard app experience.

6) Storage, retention and security

Local storage

Your deal entries are designed to be stored on your device. You can remove local data by deleting the app and, where relevant, clearing app storage or managing device backups depending on your Apple or Google settings.

Device backups

Your device may back up app data through iCloud, Google backup, or other device-level backup settings. We do not control those backups. You can manage them in your device settings.

Support retention

We retain support messages only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request, maintain a support history, or comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information we handle, such as support communications. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to our processing of your personal information.

How to exercise your rights: email .

On-device data: because deal data is designed to be stored on your own device, we typically cannot access or delete it for you remotely. The quickest way to delete it is to uninstall the app and manage any device backups if needed.

If you are in the UK, you may also lodge a complaint with the ICO. If you are in the EEA, you may contact your local data protection authority.

8) Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
